It was reported in the Daily mail (Wed. March 13) that taking Viagra could help men lose weight. Apparently it works by converting “bad” white fat cells into “good” brown ones. White fat cells deposit themselves around the stomach and can lead to an increased risk of heart disease in men, whereas brown cells burn the calories from food, melting the fat away. The research was carried out on mice so it is too soon to tell if it works in humans.
